A story from Friuli.

Le Furlé began with something familiar. Half my family comes from Friuli Venezia Giulia, where Friulane have long been part of everyday life — worn through Italian summers, on bicycles and around the home, passed from one generation to another.

When I later moved to Milan, I saw the same humble shoe differently. There, the Friulana had become a quiet staple among some of the city's most elegant women.

Le Furlé grew from those two worlds — a desire to bring a piece of Friuli into the world, and to celebrate what Made in Italy means to me: craftsmanship, quality, heritage, history, beauty and elegance.

The name Le Furlé is a play on Le Friulane — familiar, but reimagined.
